Carteret Waterfront Tour and $1 Million Funding Presentation
Carteret – Senator Joseph Vitale, (D-Middlesex), and Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) Commissioner Bradley Campbell will be holding a press event tomorrow, February 20 at 2:00 at the Carteret Waterfront. The Commissioner and the Senator are touring the waterfront development and presenting a check to the Borough of Carteret’s Mayor Daniel Reiman, totaling $1 Million, on behalf of the DEP’s Green Acres Funds for waterfront redevelopment and land acquisition. The event should not last longer than 20-30 minutes.
Directions to Carteret Waterfront:

NJ Turnpike to Exit 12.

At traffic light make a left.
- Go through the 1st traffic light (Carteret shopping center will be on your right)
- Go through 2nd traffic light. (Gulf Station will be on your left)
- You are on Washington Avenue
- Go to end of the road to stop sign.
- This is Roosevelt Avenue.
- Make a right.
- Go to traffic light and make a left.
- At end, make a left onto Industrial Avenue.
- Make next right into Cargo Logistics parking lot and go to end of road. Waterfront is at end of lot.
