JOHNSON: TUNE INTO CABLEVISION'S `MEET THE LEADERS' PROGRAM
Interview With Assemblyman to Air Month of April
(ENGLEWOOD) -- Assemblyman Gordon M. Johnson will appear on Cablevisions' "Meet the Leaders" program during the month of April.

A half-hour interview and discussion program, "Meet the Leaders" focuses on local leaders to help viewers gain a deeper understanding and awareness of the issues in their communities.

During the interview, Johnson spoke about his background, his many bills to assist veterans, senior citizens, and consumers, and his work safeguarding citizens from crime as Vice-Chairman of the Assembly Law and Public Safety Committee.

"The program will give my constituents an opportunity to find out more about me and my work to help improve the quality of their lives," said Johnson (D-Englewood). "I hope my appearance on the program will encourage more people to get involved in the legislative process."

"Meet the Leaders" will air 7 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays on Channel 78 during April.

Johnson is an Undersheriff with the Bergen County Sheriffs Department, having served as Bergen County Sheriff from February to December 31, 2001. He has had a distinguished law enforcement career that has spanned more than 20 years.

Johnson represents the 37`t' Legislative District, which consists of Bergenfield, Bogota, Englewood, Englewood Cliffs, Hackensack, Leonia, Maywood, Palisades Park, Ridgefield Park Village, Rochelle Park, Teaneck and Tenafly.
