I was in a hurry to get out and shovel the snow! As soon as I get in the office, I plan to search for more Links -- especially Spanish Language. Of course, as you've shown -- there's no need to wait for me. Virtually every side is welcome to post Links to their heart's content. But, please DO NOT POST THE ENTIRE ARTICLE! That's not fair to the publication. Post an excerpt and a Link to the Page at the media Web Site. BTW, NPR had coverage of the Menendez appointment on Morning Edition yesterday. But, I didn't see it at their Web Site. Does anyone have a Link to that audio? : : Editorial : Political winner : The appointment of Rep. Robert Menendez of New Jersey to fill an unexpired term in the U.S. Senate is a winner for the people of New Jersey and the people of Florida. He becomes the second Cuban American in the upper chamber after Sen. Mel Martinez, the Florida Republican, and only the third Hispanic along with Mr. Martinez and Sen. Ken Salazar, D-Colo. : Sen. Menendez is no stranger to Florida, having visited here many times on trips related to campaign activities. It should be no surprise that Floridians make up the third-largest source of campaign donations after New Jersey and New York. He has many friends and admirers in South Florida. : Sen. Menendez, the 51-year-old son of Cuban immigrants, will be another strong voice in the Senate for an effective anti-Castro policy. We wish him well as he embarks on a campaign to win election to the New Jersey Senate seat next year.
