ACTING GOVERNOR CODEY SIGNS BILLS INTO LAW

(TRENTON) Acting Governor Richard J. Codey signed the following bills into law today:

ACS for A-2487/2773 (Biondi/Stack/O Toole/Holzapfel/Singer/Rice): Revises continuing education requirements for dental hygienists.

A-1447 (Scalera/Johnson/Manzo/Greenstein/Sarlo/Buono): Provides for State and county coordination of emergency response programs.

A-3088 (Cohen/Smith/Martin): Permits recall of retired administrative law and workers compensation judges.

A-3510 (Greenwald/Bryant): Clarifies that the minimum payment of estimated gross income tax on sales of real property in this State by nonresidents is 2 percent of the consideration.

A-2444 (Bateman/McKeon/McNamara): Provides liability protection for natural resource damages and offsite contamination to certain persons; makes changes concerning the statute of limitations for certain causes of action.

A-3302 (Greenwald/Cryan/Previte/Kenny/Girgenti): Revises 1% fee on transfer of residential property for more than $1 million, exempts certain transfers, and provides for refunds of certain fees paid.

S-334 (Sarlo/Scalera/Stack/Vas): Upgrades penalties for certain assaults committed against employees of public utilities, cable television or telecommunication services.
