CODEY TO KICK OFF NEW YEAR S EVE DON T DRINK AND DRIVE CAMPAIGN

(TRENTON) As New Year s Eve approaches, Acting Governor Richard J. Codey on Thursday, Dec. 30, will remind motorists not to drink and drive and will sign S1504, which builds upon New Jersey s drunk driving laws.

Codey will be joined by the bill s sponsor, Sen. Barbara Buono, and Michael Partipilo, whose 17-year-old son, Michael, an honor student at St. Joseph High School in Metuchen, was killed by a drunk driver in March this year.
