CODEY TO HOLD PRESS CONFERENCE WITH SALVATION ARMY

(TRENTON) Acting Governor Richard J. Codey on Friday, Dec. 24, will hold a press conference to discuss the Salvation Army s holiday season fund drive, and make an announcement about next year s drive.

After Target stores announced they would not allow the organization s Red Kettle fundraisers at their stores, Acting Governor Codey earlier this month opened all rest stops on the New Jersey Turnpike and Garden State Parkway, and all NJ TRANSIT passenger stations, to the fundraisers

The conference will take place at the Vince Lombardi Service Center, off Exit 18 on the New Jersey Turnpike, where Salvation Army volunteers have been raising donations for the Red Kettle Campaign.
