CODEY, CORZINE TO HONOR FALLEN TROOPERS, MAKE IMPORTANT HOMELAND SECURITY ANNOUNCEMENT

(TRENTON) - Acting Governor Richard J. Codey and U.S. Sen. Jon Corzine on Sunday, Dec. 19, will honor three fallen state troopers at a ceremony in Liberty State Park, where they will also make an important announcement regarding homeland security.

Codey and Corzine will be joined by Attorney General Peter Harvey, State Police Superintendent Col. Rick Fuentes and relatives of the deceased troopers.

Directions: New Jersey Turnpike to exit 14B. After leaving the toll stay in the left lane and turn left onto Morris Pesin Drive for .8 mile (go straight through the traffic light.) Turn left onto Freedom Way. Travel 1.3 miles to stop sign. Proceed to the CRRNJ Rail/Ferry terminal at the end, on the right.
